Tiago Navas, 31, was born in Campinas, got a Law degree at the University of Sao Francisco but never wore a suit to work. He sold his car and used the cash to buy equipment, and then became a photographer.

His first shots started at Uni and his hobby gradually turned into his profession. He started taking it seriously and really enjoying to leave behind the lenses.

Working for Hardcore, a monthly magazine specialising in surf, has enable Tiago to see the world through his camera. The Amazon, Panama, Mexico. Australia, California, Hawaii, Tahiti, Indonesia, Maldives, China and Europe are some of the places Tiago has been and made friends.

Tiago has taken part in several exhibitions, both in Brazil and overseas and is usually invited by Universities to lecture on Photography.
Two of his photographs won the prize of the best photos.

Easy going, Tiago gets along well with everyone he deals with and is always open to new opportunities and challenges.

After working for Hardcore for 8 years, Tiago is now a freelance photographer, shooting for the best national and international magazines. His work ranges from Fashion Editorials to Surf Labels Campaign.
